How to Request Your NC Eligibility Certificate for the DMV

1. The student must complete the driving portion of Driver's Education.
2. The Driver's Ed instructor will fill out the Certificate completely, including all required signatures.
3. The completed Certificate must be turned in to Replace with Staff Name at Your School (by either the teacher or the student).
4. Once the student has an appointment at the DMV, a parent or the student should Contact Staff Member Name Here (use contact form feature)to request the Eligibility Certificate. The email must include:
   • Student's Full Name
   • Date of Birth
   • PowerSchool Number
   • Date of DMV Appointment or Walk-In Date
5. Ms. Hill will complete the Eligibility Certificate and send an email confirming it's ready for pick-up at the front office.
6. Note: Eligibility Certificates will only be issued if:
   • The Driver’s Ed Certificate has been submitted
   • The student is academically eligible (passed 3 out of 4 classes from the previous semester)

You may pay your student class fee, instructional supply fee, and other school related fees through K12 payment center. This is not where you pay for meals.

• Select Available fees
• Select Filters
• Select Your Child’s School
• Add fees to the cart, once finished you may check out. 
• Please add your student’s first and last name in the memo line. 
  *if you do not have a K12 account, you may continue as a guest to make school fee payments.

Cabarrus County Schools offers a secure website for students, former students and third-party agencies to request transcripts and student records online.

Records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian or responsible person if the student is less than 18 years of age.

We use ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications which allows district, school administrators and teachers to more effectively communicate and engage with families and students. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent using their preferred email address and phone number.

We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences, including when and how they receive notifications.

Edulog is an app that lets parents view the location of their student's school bus to gauge arrival times each day. The app sends a push notification to the parent's smartphone when the bus enters a user-defined geographic area around the stop. Parents only receive access by registering with data unique to their child. It's all information to help parents feel secure about their child's trip on the school bus!
